The 37 page ebook (with lots of screenshots) starts with a piece on getting targeted traffic without spending a dime. The author also states how it is very much possible without resorting to the usual expensive and ‘geeky’ methods of optimizing your site. With that the intro is over and the author starts right from the basics where the importance of keyword research and domain selection based on that, is explained. He presents it like a case study where a sample scenario is chosen and everything is explained based on that.

That was the “Getting Started” section. Now comes the part we have been waiting for - “Traffic”. The author starts off the section with a paragraph on how article marketing can bring in free traffic. The process of writing articles quickly is broken into smaller steps for ease of understanding. Some free tools to submit articles in bulk, are also mentioned.

Then comes the portion on search engine ranking. Well known methods like directory submission, blog commenting, link exchange etc.. are covered in detail. Though blackhat, promotion via viral videos with the help of Youtube is also mentioned. The top 100 social bookmarking sites list is given, with tips on how to utilise them. RSS Feeds, Joint Ventures, Opt-In Mailing are all mentioned but none of them are covered in depth.

In the end, the book is clearly made with newbies in mind. Experts probably will not gain any new insights from the book. Still if you are struggling to get traffic to your site, you might give this a try. After all it is only $15, which might probably save you a few hundreds in the form of “traffic money”.
